The genesis of Thompson & Shankar was to support the development partners in addressing some of the complex external and internal environment challenges they face in building evidence-driven strategy and translating strategy into implementation plans. This coupled with, gaps in knowledge creation, monitoring mechanisms and internal controls, hinder organizations to operate at their maximum potential.

Founded in early 2021, Thompson & Shankar was set up with the aim to enable non-profits to maximize efficiencies for program delivery and support funding agencies in optimizing program and investment strategies.

The team at T&S is powered by an in-depth understanding of the socio-demographic landscape, the stakeholders striving to bring about social change, and, the opportunities and challenges that organizations face while operating in the sector.

Having solid on-ground experience, as well as comprehensive know-how of the funding agencies and their investment patterns, we are uniquely positioned to help bridge the gap between expectations from the funders and outcomes driven by the implementing partners. In all our endeavors, we are driven to strengthen organizations to accelerate program impact at the community level.
